This site uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to run the research shortlist and, when online ordering is open, saved options, the cart and checkout. The site does not load analytics or advertising cookies.
What the site stores
- Research shortlist (
hairscissors-aus:research-model:v1:followed by the model, one entry per saved model, in your browser’s local storage): keeps the model profiles you save and the number you are comparing. It holds no name, email, address or payment details.
When online ordering is open, the site also stores:
- Saved options (
hairscissorsau:saved-options:v1, in your browser’s local storage): keeps the exact options and quantities you save until you transfer them to the cart. It holds no name, email, address or payment details. - Checkout session cookie (
__Host-scissor_physical_payment): links your browser to your cart and checkout. It is secure and HttpOnly, and lasts up to 30 days. - Checkout quote (
physical_quote_hairscissorsau, in your browser’s session storage): remembers the delivery quote shown at checkout while that tab stays open.
Other services
- PayPal may set its own cookies in the PayPal payment window.
- The site’s pages load no fonts or scripts from other services.
Managing cookies
Use Clear saved research on your research shortlist to empty it. When online ordering is open, Clear saved options on your saved options empties them. You can also clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. If you do, your saved research, saved options and cart may empty or checkout may not complete.
